Trading mobile phone cases is easier than phone parts and phone accessories. Mobile phone cases don’t have quality problem and leadtime is short.
On my last post, I wrote that a Mexican client order the wallet leather phone case. We have cooperated for about one year. But because of customs issues, he had to stop ordering from China.
Then I met another client from Costa Rica. He was also very interested in the wallet leather phone case. But he wanted to printed different images on the leather case. That was quite simple.
We have many images for him to choose. He just picked up what he like and told us. He also can send us high clear pictures that he needed to print on the case. Then we can produce for him. MOQ was just 100-200pcs per image, and unit price was about $1.4. Production time around 10 days. He was also a very nice client.
Most of time, our shipping way were by DHL, UPS or Fedex. But we also have clients who ask send by ship.
My first client who asked send by ship was from Bulgaria. He ordered the universal tablet leather cases. Sizes have for 7.5 inch, 8 inch, 9 inch and also 10 inch. Also with card slot holder and desk stand function.
Price was very cheap, also about $1.5. But it’s leather quality was not that good as the phone leather case.
In 2015, the universal tablet leather case was popular. And also another style tablet case, name 360 rotation flip leather case for Samsung Tablet, was also very good selling.
But today in 2021, seems the aluminum laptop stand is more popular. It’s made in metal aluminum, but it can be foldable, size is small, you can put in the bag and take it any where.
After payment confirmed and products ready, Bulgaria client gave us the S/O. We just need to send products to the designated warehouse. Then we finish our job.
Sent by ship took very long time. From Guangzhou Port to Bulgaria, took about 45-60 days.
For those clients who order big quantity order, sending by ship was a very worthy way. Would save a lot of shipping cost.
Oh, I also had a client from India. He order the motomo mesh phone cases. I remembered that he was very young, and ordered about 10,000pcs motomo cases. The unit price was cheap, seems about $0.5 eahc? So, that doesn’t take too much amount.
Maybe because he was young and that was his first time doing business with Chinese. So his father came to our office from Yiwu, Zhejiang (His father was on trip in Yiwu at that time. ) to check the products and paid us cash.
Then his father asked us send those phone cases to Yiwu. Because he dealt with shoes in Yiwu Zhejiang. And those phone cases will be sent to India by ship with his father’s other goods.
But he didn’t come back to order again. Maybe he have other options or maybe he already gave up the phone cases business. Since he was young and that was his first business.
